Suzanne Somers Biography
Suzanne Marie Mahoney was born on in San Bruno, California, 16 October 1946, she was born one of four children. In 1986 she wrote an autobiography entitled Keeping Secrets, which detailed the abuses suffered at her hands of her father as a child, later in a TV movie.
As a child she was diagnosed with dyslexia was, and was considered a poor academic student. However, it has a good performance in the theater program at the school, eventually attending collegewith a music scholarship.
Unfortunately, after a short time at college, she became pregnant and married her boyfriend Bruce Somers, the marriage ended in 1967 after two years. As a single mother trying to make ends meet Suzanne used her looks to take modeling, she was quickly from a game-show by Alan Hamel, who later grabbed her second husband.
During the early 70s, she found small roles in TV shows and movies. Finally winning the role, would make it into aStars, like the bubbling blond Chrissy on the hit TV comedy show Three's Company opposite John Ritter. She has stated in the past that the character was based the wife of the famous entertainer, Dick Clark.
She played on the show for four seasons, then was apparently 'let go' after it for a raise. During the early 80s she performed on stage in Las Vegas. Later took over the role of Carol Foster, this time in opposite Patrick Duffy in the TV series Step by Step. She went on laterHost of the long-running Candid Camera.

Among the divas this year's game were: Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Melissa Etheridge, Sheryl Crow, Jordin Sparks, Cyndi Lauper, Leona Lewis, Adele and Jennifer Hudson, it was an amazing line-upLadies who are strange enough, never think in the media for what the most, as the diva behavior. Then of course Paula Abdul was a sensation as host for the televised event. She took the audience by storm with her dead-on impersonation of her American Idol-replacement Ellen DeGeneres but everything was fun and at the end made Paula's safe to say it's got nothing but love for Ellen D. As always, the performances were stellar. Kelly Clarkson once suggested her own blog to tell howAmazingly, the experience for them. She said that the ability to perform with Melissa Etheridge was at the top of their list this year. KC added that all the girls were in the show pretty much the opposite of divas! Most viewers agree that the show-braking performance of the evening was that Miley Cyrus and Sheryl Crow.
