When you have played the last time? I'm not talking about TV or game shows to play in some games to work, where stress and humiliation are cleverly disguised under the guise of motivating fun. I'm talking about an enjoyable activity with no agenda, no time and not worry about how messy you or how stupid you look. Do not do something, do you choose, to have. Often on the journey from childhood to adulthood, we forget how and whyto play. One day we will wake up ... grown-up! And so begins a long stretch of all work and no play. (Think Jack Nicolson was sent to the psycho in the movie, The Shining, when that happens!)
But we do not give up so easily on our inner child. One day as I walked by a parknear my house with Joe and our dog, we reviewed a dialogue, we had several times when crossing this park.
I said: "I used to love to go on the swings when I was a child."
He said: "Well, why not?"
I said: "I Here?" I would be ridiculous. "
However, were empty on this day, everything vibrates, and when he pushed me again, I decided to go for it. The game is so simple to make (after all, children can do it 16 hours a day), and not have to cost much. The next time you're in a toy department, spend a few dollars and buy a colorful, striped, or perhaps a hoola-hoop. It isGuaranteed to give lots of laughter, either by yourself (even if in a mirror, of course), or when your friends come to visit. The fifth collection culled from the annual VH1 Divas specials is a little too genteel. Maybe because the producers are now old hands at pairing up pop's biggest female singers, and they know how to avoid potential fireworks. But it's the fireworks that make these records sizzle. Who can forget Elton John's rendition of "The Bitch Is Back" on the 1999 edition? Except for the rendition of AC/DC's "You Shook Me," inexplicably assigned to Celine Dion and disco revivalist Anastacia, which features blistering guitar by Meredith ("Bitch") Brooks, none of the cuts crackle. Cher's dance floor hit "I Believe" sounds canned and forced, and Latin firecracker Shakira goes low-key with an acoustic version of her soft-focus "Underneath Your Clothes." Even the vivacious Dixie Chicks can't rescue the record with their performance of Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide," complete with Stevie Nicks. --Jaan Uhelszki

Live Free Or Die Hard Movie Review - Is the latest franchise
Perhaps the best thing about Bruce Willis' latest outing as John McClane is the title. "Live Free Or Die Hard" (2007) sounds less cheesy than its predecessors, Die Hard With a Vengeance. " And go - as the title - is certainly an improvement on "Die Hard 2: Die Harder."
But as far as content, "Live Free" is by far the worst entry in the series.
The stunts and special effects are entertaining, to be sure. Unfortunately, the story is so ridiculous, it prevents even the slightest suspensionof infidelity, an essential element for the genre. Take, for example, the first scenes of the film. The bad guys are not going to kill computer hacker by uploading a virus on their respective systems.
What kind of virus?
The type of virus that when you delete "hit that" your house exploded in a fireball. As a digital virus results in such a massive ball of fire I'll never know. The more you think analytically to avoid the more you will enjoy this film. Highlights are now McClane take down helicopter with a car, and Kevin Smith (of "Clerks") as a hacker named Warlock. He lives in the basement of his mother, whom he refers to the "government".

The Birth of Film Noir - Double Indemnity
Director Billy Wilder left his native Austria to escape the Nazis, and after his emigration to the United States, was the quintessential American director. He started as a scriptwriter for Ernst Lubisch and others then began the line with The Front Page, later filmed as His Girl Friday.
Double Indemnity (1944) was Wilder's third, but stylistically first serious film, and credit for the birth of film noir is replaced, literally "night movie." This term describes a visualStyle and mood of a type of dramatic film, usually crime that is much more granular and more realistic than most movies before that time.
Film noir was mostly shot at night or in dark interiors, there are a lot of use of shadows, dimly lit corners, light of blinds, bars, in characters, which may be directed to the simulated emergency, and with backlight . smoke Indemnity used both cigars and cigarettes, with a cigarette when it is stretched, or even relax after sex.
Film noirhas its origins in the 30's detective stories, which was often printed as Pulp Fiction for cheap paper it was this dark side stories with sex, violence and shady characters. The heroes were people with common street wisdom, often with a hard upbringing and a parent best.
Soldiers from the Second World War and a film audience that had survived the Great Depression, calling for more adult films in the topic, theme and style. Wilder was impressed by pulp writer John KainStory of "Double Indemnity", the same author of the novel The Postman Always Rings Twice, but it was considered unfilmable because of the Hayes Code censorship autocracy. The script was through years of rewrites and applications before the shooting was allowed in 1944. The Hayes Code suppressed first sex in movies, then violence, socialism, and later was used, a verdict of more than 28,000 works of art over!
Wilder then had a difficult time casting the lead parts, two murders, adulterers. HeBarbara Stanwyck was the whole time, but eventually she had to question, to get them to the image-shattering, and role they're asked, "Are you an actress or a mouse?" After several refusals by actors, including George Raft, who had a knack for turning a breakthrough part as Sam Spade in The Maltese Falcon, he persuaded Fred McMurray on his screen image from light romantic comedy to break, something more serious attempt. His first scene with Stanwyck when she meets in her apartment and she in a towelout of the bathroom, using his comedic skills along with some great dialogue and timing.
Wilder also convinced actor Edward G. Robinson, a non-actor character role, meaty enough for at least two major speeches that Robinson absolutely nailed. Crime writer Raymond Chandler (The Big Sleep, The Long Goodbye) has been implicated for its realistic dialogue, many here clearly above all the first scenes between Stanwyck and McMurray. However, Chandler was an introverted person, andWild extrovert, so they do not get along at all and never worked together again. Ironically, they were jointly nominated for an Oscar for her screenplay. Chandler Wilder later used as a model for its best picture winner The Lost Weekend, is a severe alcoholic, his life destroyed.

Are you a diva? Who is?
When you hear the world "Diva" that comes to mind? Maybe someone like Beyonce, Mariah Carey or Madonna? These three singers and actors seem to be perfectly example the word "Diva" which really means, according to Wikipedia, "Ms outstanding talent."
VH1 recently a concert titled "Divas" s ", which featured the following recording artists, Adele, Kelly Clarkson, Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, Leona Lewis and Jordin Sparks. The original" broadcast Diva "concertwas in 1998 musical with such super-talents such as transfer Aretha Franklin, Mariah Carey, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Cher and Beyonce on TV. The six vocal stars of this month, the production featured all the claimed very proud to be a diva, and we felt honored to be part of this elite group are not included.
When asked what she thought there should be a Diva, she had some different views. Jordin Sparks said that there is someone who could captivate an audience. Miley Cyrus (safethe youngest member of this group) said that it was someone who was bigger than life. Leona Lewis agreed to say that there is someone "who is really entitled," while for Adele someone conjured up the word "with big hair."
Actually, many of these descriptions are fairly accurate with the exception of the big hair classification. Pink and Rihanna have described both extremely short hair and could justify being a diva.
Besides their different descriptions of the diva, this talent also feltdifferently, what should be their cupboards for the event. Adele said she was wearing leggings and a sweater, while Miley Cyrus plans on having at least three costume changes (one would perform for each song they are).
It seems that these songbirds have mutual respect for each other and are excited to be efficient at the same rate. Because of their individual talents, it should be a musical treat for all who tune in.

Celine Dion is definitely the biggest highlight from the first ever Divas Live. Her solo performances of River Deep, Mountain High and My Heart Will Go On are impeccable. Everyone agrees that her My Heart Will Go On performance on this show is one of her best and most memorable yet. She also does The Reason with Carole King. Shania Twain performing Man!I Feel Like A Woman! and You're Still The One also contributes to making this show better than it would have been with incredibly mediocre Gloria Estefan, incredibly annoying Mariah Carey, and incredibly over hyped Aretha Franklin. MARIAH CAREY IS NOT A GREAT SINGER!!!!!!!!
It was awesome to see Celine rightfully upstage Aretha in the finale. Classic. Aretha may be the Queen Of Soul(ick) but Celine Dion is the Queen of ALL singers! The Canadians rule the day here, folks!

Live Free Or Die Hard Movie Review - Franchise Does the Latter
Perhaps the best thing about Bruce Willis' latest outing as John McClane is the title. "Live Free Or Die Hard" (2007) sounds less cheesy than its predecessors, Die Hard With a Vengeance. " And go - as the title - is certainly an improvement on "Die Hard 2: Die Harder."
But as far as content, "Live Free" is by far the worst entry in the series.
The stunts and special effects are entertaining, to be sure. Unfortunately, the story is so ridiculous, it prevents even the slightest suspensionof infidelity, an essential element for the genre. Take, for example, the first scenes of the film. The bad guys are not going to kill computer hacker by uploading a virus on their respective systems.

The type of virus that when you delete "hit that" your house exploded in a fireball. As a digital virus results in such a massive ball of fire I'll never know. I enjoyed the show, and from what I understand it was for a good cause. This CD pretty much highlights the show. In ways I wish they would have included LeAnn & Elton's duet "Written In The Stars". There's 2 incredible voices together. In my opinion though...Brandy doesn't really seem to fit in as a "Diva" if Faith Hill and LeAnn Rimes are only the Divas in training for the show.

Aretha Franklin was clearly the queen of 'em all, y'all, at VH1's first Divas Live concert. So much so that even with her absence from the second, the finest musical moment comes on one of her classics. Mary J. Blige teams with a surprisingly gritty Whitney Houston to deliver a more than respectable take on "Ain't No Way." Many of the remaining performances on Divas Live/99 are perfectly competent, but inevitably uninspiring except for the biggest fans of the artists. Brandy stands out thanks to the relative unfamiliarity of her hits next to warhorses like Tina Turner's "The Best" and Cher's "If I Could Turn Back Time." Otherwise, the clever choice of Elton John to round out the party proves inspired as he duets with Turner on "The Bitch Is Back" and solos on his hardy anthem "I'm Still Standing." --Rickey Wright

Randy Orton - The Most Wasteful Man In Wrestling
It was recently shown that pushed Triple H for Randy Orton to be given a run as WWE Champion, when Triple H believes it will continue to follow John Cena benefit for the title for a while, and that his Orton now ready to do would be a top dog position Randy Orton has already performed several times if he had learned how he should behave.

Orton was soon because a "Run as WWE Champion to defeat Chris Benoit for the title at Unforgiven, but the government had not proved a success. Orton was not the fault but as a WWE title fell to Orton, whenBenoit reign as champion looked to invade assessments. Even Orton's ego and arrogance did not help him win over the fans in the role of a fan favorite.
Randy Orton feud with Triple H and The Undertaker over the next year, but he was also beginning to earn a reputation as a trouble-polluter, and extremely arrogant. Orton apparently believed that because he was a top star, he did not follow the same rules as the rest of the WWE roster hold.

Movie Reviews Bart Got a Room
Movie reviews this week deals with the comedy Bart Got a Room.
This is a beautiful comedy the whole family to enjoy telling the story of a typical teenager Danny Stein played by Steven Kaplan (a young Patrick Dempsey look-alike) preparing for his Prom Night, unless he has to go find a date for prom with. However, there is a good friend, Camille, played by the beautiful Alia Shawkat, whom he has known all his life, they are good, and even a school projectstogether, as her sister says, "He is practically a brother." His whole family and think of her family that she should go to the prom together, but like most teenagers, he is looking for something a little outside his immediate environment, especially a very pretty girl, played by Ashley Benson, Alice, strange enough, he or she wants to ask for the ball, though he suspects she is not really interested in him, and proposed measures to Sister Camille's Ball, Gertie (played by the veryfairly Katie McClellan) as opposed to Camille themselves.
Camille also sends him a letter and asked him to her for the ball with which he said gently down, he has the eyes for someone else to take.
Questions come to the point of desperation when the local geek (complete with large double-) rimmed glasses not only has a date for the prom, but a room, hence the title of the film, much to the shock and dismay, Bart's family, his mother, played by the lovely Cheryl Hines (Robin Williams wifeRV) and his divorced father, played completely with a good look Permian, from the reliable William H. Macy (Boogie Nights). His father tried to find a date for themselves, there is a funny scene where he takes his day in a restaurant with Danny to ask for advice on when the girl of his dreams should be invited to the prom, on the basis his father, meaning good natured, but awkward in the current situation, making his stage an excuse that their child has a bath, and is seen on the cameraAcceleration, while both the question of possible prom discussing Danny's day.
With his request, his parents have reconciled mixed, although Danny's mother has a new man in her life, which is nice, and seemingly in competition with Danny's father for his love. His father will not be upstaged, however, determined, and also try to remember the prom something for his son.
It is a great family film, and one could say that there are aspects of thatbiographical.

First of all let me start with Tina Turner who was good for her age but a little too tired for my taste. She sounded like a man! Then there was Cher who added to the mess with her rythemless dances. Next was Elton whose performance I couldn't stomach and the same can be said for Cher. LeAnn did good. Brandy started off shaky but by the time the song changed to Almost Doesn't Count she was a diva in training. She sang all over Faith Hill In Everthing I Do and Faith Hill's This Kiss was a little to dry for my taste. I beleive that a diva should offer some excitement which is exactly what Mary J. Blidge and Whitney did in Ain't No Way-They sang up a storm!Whitney inished it off with I Will Always Love You in which she proved that her voice ain't goin no where but up. The the finale with all the divas showed that Whitney was the best and Chaka never should ahve let her sing over her like that. But buy the DVD and see who the real diva is.I acn tell you now it's Whitney!

Strutting through the audience, the indomitable Tina Turner opens VH1's Divas Live 99 by launching into "Simply the Best," proving she still is. She and honorary diva Elton John belt out an energetic version of "The Bitch Is Back," but the highlight is when Turner teases the captivated audience during the slow, sultry opening of "Proud Mary." A sexy dervish on stage, Turner easily out-swaggers her younger backup singer-dancers. Cher joins her to wrap up the classic hit, then segues into her own set in which she seems breathless, but you can't help admire her staying power (four decades!) and forgive her. Diva-in- training Leann Rimes performs "How Do I Live" with a sure, powerful voice. Next to her, Brandy is pleasant but unexciting. Her breathy rendition of "Everything I Do I Do for You" is disappointing, but it picks up when Faith Hill enters. Adding a passion and conviction that young Brandy can't yet muster, Hill grounds the song. Über-diva Whitney Houston gives us the drawn-out vocal gymnastics for which she's famous. Self-effacing she's not, but the girl can hold a note like nobody's business. Mary J. Blige matches Houston in a charged "Ain't No Way."
Divas Live 99 is a benefit for Save the Music, VH1's project to stress the importance of music education in public schools. Clocking in at an hour and 18 minutes, the video is edited down from the original special, but it moves along at a satisfying clip. Though not as stunning as the previous year's Divas Live, it's still an enjoyable concert from some of music's favorite performers. --Dana Van Nest

Even though I did not see the VH1 special in its entirety, I still cant even fathom any review from anybody that says anything but utter perfection. Flawless performances from the worlds best Diva's. i do enjoy and love the entertainers that were cut from the vidio. However, in my opinion, they didnt belong on stage with the worlds best. I still dont know how annastasia pulled it off, but she was given her finest gift and acheivement being on stage with the best. dixie chicks didnt belong there either but were included for some reason. Celine, owned the crowd, as she should have.

The Production Managers Guide to Television Lighting
This guide is a brief introduction about the lighting. It is aimed at the production manager and production coordinator for their understanding of lights they will be asked for certain jobs in order to develop. Cameraman You can see some parts of the history of lighting some interesting products, so please read. This guide will also help some of the technical language used in TV production.
In simple terms, light is divided into 3 main types, Tungsten, HMI & Fluorescent split.
1)How does Tungsten?
Now, power is managed is simply a very fine wire coil (called a tungsten filament) is heated and lit it "hot" which in turn lights off. The color temperature of light is around 3200k (like your light bulbs at home)
2) HMI what that means?
(Hydrargyrum Halide Iodide) lights are the same color temperature as daylight (5600K to 6000K). They produce about four times as much light as a tungsten filament lamp of the sameWattage. HMI lamps work differently from tungsten in that a spark will "jump" or "arcs" between two pins and a spark ignites a gas that is kept under pressure in the lamp housing. If this gas is lit, it is not so much happy. These lamps need a so-called ballast. This is a heavy box, the current steps and passes the high voltage to the lamp with a heavy duty "header cable. (Remember to look, never in an HMI, if it happens, it would be like looking directly atthe sun!)
3) fluorescence bands is that, like light?
In a nutshell're on the same principle as domestic strip lights. They are popular because they are lightweight and give a beautiful soft light.
LIGHTS
Standard Interview Light Kit
We offer the most frequently asked about kit consists of four tungsten lights: Arri, a 650-watt or 800-watt light with a chimera, an Arri 300-watt light and a Dedo light. We also have a Gel kit with aSeries of gels and reflectors.
Here is a brief description of each light:
Arri 800-watt light (Redhead)
It is an open face (there is no lens in front of the lamp) and artificial light. For interviews, is that light typically be used with a Chimera (more on chimeras in a minute) as a key light, using the main light to a subject's face light.
Arri 650-watt light (Mizar)
This is a Fresnel light - it has a lens with raised circular edge on its outer surface, whichbe used to focus the beam. It is often used instead of the Arri 800 and in such cases is usually provided with a Chimera. For interviews, this is usually accompanied by a Chimera as a key light. However, you can create a gobo and this light can be used to take a slash of color on the background.
Arri 300-watt light (Mizar)
As the 650-watt light, which is a Fresnel light. For interviews, it is commonly known as "Lights on" is used - a light for all the shadows created to soften the keyLight) usually with some diffusion gel (more on gels in one minute to reduce the intensity. These lights are also used as backlighting in an interview - a light directed from behind the object at the top of the head and shoulders to highlight it.
Chimera
A chimera is also called light box or Soft Box. It fits on a light fits with what is a ring of speed, where the barn doors held in place. To remove the barn doors and set the speed-ring in place. TheChimera looks a bit like a box with white and silver material. It measures the speed of the ring and sits in front of the background so that the light passes through them. The effect is soft and the lights turned up a hard source to diffuse.
Trivia: The Chimera Soft box was invented in the U.S. by a location photographer and mountain climber to photographers with studio-quality lighting delivered on site. They founded the company Chimera in 1980 and operating from Boulder, Colorado. TheirProducts will continue to be made in the USA, sewn in homes seamstress, and are individually tested and endorsed.
Speed Rings:
Gels
Gels are made from gelatin and are available in different colors on rolls. They are cut into blocks and then fit to the barn doors of the light with alligator clips (mounted like clothespins they are just metal). Gels are an essential part of any lighting kit. They can be used for color correction, or create special lighting effects.Understanding this requires a basic understanding of color temperature. Different types of light sources have different amounts of red or blue in them and can affect the color of the image you filming. For example, tungsten lights have a different color temperature than daylight. This means that if you shoot in a room with lots of natural light coming in and you wanted a theme with tungsten lights, you have a problem light. One solution is to use color correction gels beforethe tungsten lights. These gels will have the light turn of the tungsten source is the same color temperature as the incident light. Other gels are used to diffuse or soften the light. Others may the light more flattering to interviewee. Some are used to add a light source and voices, the color in the background.
Dedo Lights
These lights were from a German director of photography (DOP) develops called Dedo Weigert. Hence the name "Dedo. They are small andcompact and have a light output equivalent to much larger lights. They also provide a precise control of light they produce. For interviews, they can be used as a backlight or to highlight features in the background behind the interview.
Other Tungsten Lights
1000-watt Arri Fresnel Light
In the same order of magnitude as the Arri 300-watt and 650-watt Fresnel lights, that light has a lens with raised circular ridges on its surface that is used to adjust the focusBeams. The 1000-watt light is generally for the help, an indoor location lighting.
Arri 2000-watt Light (Blonde)
) Move from the Redhead (800-watt open-faced light you have the blonde. This light is typically used to help light indoors, although I have some people to it for help, have known an interview using light.
Fluorescent
Kino Flo
Kino Flo fluorescent lights are mounted in specially designed fixtures to hold two or four or twofour-meter pipes. You create a cool (in the "not hot") sense of the word, soft, energy-saving lamps, which is excellent for interviews for the lighting and people in general. They are used as key light and cast a soft diffused light on the subject, which is very flattering. They are an excellent alternative to using a tungsten light with a chimera. Another advantage, they shall both tungsten and daylight tubes so you can easily use them in enclosed spaces where there is a large window orSkylight that allows in plenty of natural light.
Trivia: They were invented by the gaffer, Frieder Hochheim, and his best boy, Gary Swink, the film Barfly in 1987. These two innovative companies, which was in a tight domestic situation and the DOP with a wide angle lens. This meant there was no room for a conventional lighting rig set. The solution - fluorescent lights, which could be hidden, easy to assemble and with quiet remote controlled ballasts. Because they do not do the heat, they areExcellent, if you shoot in the same place for a long time. They were a real hit with the cast and crew of Barfly and are now used in films and TV production around the world.
We often offer cinema Flos, interviews with celebrities and other high-caliber talent to shoot. You are in the interview saturations popular because it is not the heat, do generate Sam tungsten light. The range includes: 4 x 4-foot tubes in a device, 4 x 2 meter tubes in a fixture and 4 x2-foot tubes in a lamp.
Diva Lites
Manufactured by Kino Flo, these lights also a fluorescent light. They only come in one size - four two-foot tubes - and they have a built-in as a remote ballast dimmer. This makes them very fast to install and remove. As the cinema Flos are superb Diva Lites for recording interviews. She cast a soft diffused light that is flattering for talent and interview partners.
Production Advantage: Everything comes inin one case, if you are abroad there is less baggage, moreover, can light up very quickly and de rigged the lamp to cool down not necessarily to the team on a temporary wrap-no overtime! (sorry team)
Kamio 6 Ring Light
This is a unique light that rises to the barrel of the camera, so you get a constant light from the axis of the lens. The result is a soft light that smooths rough edges and pleasing to the talent. It has a palm-sized ballast which mounts onthe camera is running and the camera battery. The kit also contains a stone-box tray holder. We used the light in the studio and on location for static shots and tracking shots. In the case of camera movements, it offers a consistent flattering light. When the camera is approaching the issue, an attractive catch the light produces a white ring in the eye, which is very flattering.
HMI lamp
They are mainly used in closed spaces with lots of natural light environment or outdoorsduring the day.
Arri 200-watt HMI Light
These are portable HMI lamps that operate on batteries or AC power and can, for the repeal of ideal light on talent filmed outdoors. We use them primarily for pieces to camera or interviews outside shot.
Arri 575-watt HMI Light
This light is with a network and is most likely to speak to illuminate an indoor location with ambient air or sunlight for illumination camera talent, if line voltage is used to provide powerbe easily accessible.
Arri 1.2K (1200-Watt) HMI Light
This light can be supplied with a network with power. It is most commonly used for lighting in the interior of a building with the surrounding air or sunlight for illumination talent indoors or outdoors, especially when used in a particularly bright outdoors.
Arri 2.5K (2500-Watt) HMI Light
This light can be supplied with a network with power. It is most commonly used for lighting in the interior of a building with the surrounding air or sunlight for lighting outdoorLocations.
